Sleek, minimalistic
hair salon Statik (2331 Granville St., 604-681-1444) has opened an
offshoot across the street in the chic South Granville Rise area,
but the new spot looks nothing like its parent outlet. Buttery wood,
burnished plaster and exposed brick give Caramel (2342 Granville St.,
604-731-5112) a completely different feel, but clients can still find
the same good service. Products include the Statik Vancouver hair
line and the company’s new Statik cosmetics, starting this summer.
